The Green Ribbon has become a symbol worn by transplant recipients and donor families since 1994 in United States and since 1997 by "La Fondation Diane Hébert".   The Canadian Association of Transplantation (CAT) is supporting, along with our foundation, the Green Ribbon Campaign throughout Canada.

The Green Ribbon provides an identifiable image of support for organ donations. Green symbolizes life and wearing a ribbon is now a cultural norm for showing support of individual causes.
